We are excited to invite all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers in Somerset to an action packed event at Huish Woods.
The main event will be on Saturday 30th October between midday and 8pm. A limited number of groups will also be able to camp from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, with a film night, wide games and food.
This year’s event will work on a token based system – every young person will get a number of tokens at the beginning of the weekend and they can use them on whichever activities they choose. There will be opportunities throughout the weekend for them to earn more too.
Provisional bookings for this exciting weekend will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis from today and we will need final numbers confirmed by 4th October.
Huish Woods needs you!
To run such an action packed weekend, we need volunteers to help the Huish Woods Team with supervising activities, running games, assisting with arts and crafts, decorating the woods and creating the trails.
