Author: Chris Ball
1st King Alfred Scouts were very excited to Mr Boris Johnson when he visited their school (The King Alfred School, An Academy) last week. Scouts Reuben, Lucia and Rachel spoke to Mr Johnson about the exciting camps they’ve been on, money they’d raised for charity and life skills they’ve learnt.
Mr Johnson also met and spoke with Ms Harvey, the Group Scout Leader, about how pleased he was to meet the young people from the first state secondary school scout group and how he hopes to help support funding for groups to help build important character skills in other schools across the country.
